Cindy Powers has been a homeschool mom for 9 years and an Independent Manager with Bright Minds for almost 3 years.  Her passion is empowering children of all ages with using their brains as God intended.  "Today's curriculums bore children to death and assume that children are just vessels to be filled with information that they will, in turn, spit back out when prompted.  Our children need to be equipped to challenge what they hear and see, to analyze the evidence, and to do their own detective work, thereby making their own decisions and thinking for themselves."

 

Cindy conducts critical thinking workshops, both online and offline, helping parents and teachers to get the most from Bright Minds materials.  She is also the developer of the Bright Minds "BRAIN-a-thon Fundraiser", helping schools and organizations to raise funds while providing a fun 20-day mind-bending event for children as they earn materials for their personal use.
